Countdown to One! (Mini memory posts)

I can't believe that this time last year I was starting my maternity leave. I was cleaning and flip-flopping our bedroom and living room in our apartment. Looking at every possible website/store learning about cloth diapers and wishing I had known about them sooner (but that's another post). It amazes me that one year ago my beautiful Bug (who is now almost walking) was inside me. I can still remember constantly rubbing my belly and the way she would squirm about.
With Bug's first birthday looming in the not-so-far off distance, I have become very reminiscent. Everytime I get a few moments I think about the past year and how much Bug has changed. I am so busy finish up party plans and working on birthday posts (there will be a few!), that I am having trouble finding time to blog. Plus, with TWO active and mobile little girls, I am always on the go.
Well there was no point to this post just a quick blurb. And yes, there will probably be more =) Because I'm random like that.

It's like a Heat Wave

Ok, well it really was a heat wave up until the thunderstorms last night. Now it's just humid and sticky out. But yesterday the temperature managed to reach right around 100 degrees. We don't have air conditioning in our apartment so it was over 90 degrees inside. Yeah, I know :( Thankfully today it's about 76-78 degrees in the apartment but the humidity is making everything feel wet. The girls have been doing really well regarding the heat. Bug's been chilling in her cloth diapers and I think BooBoo enjoys the fact that I'm letting her run around in her panties (inside only!). The only time the heat seemed to get to everyone was at bedtime.

J and I are still looking at apartments down in the Columbus area and I told him I had two requests. 1. A Dishwasher (I HATE doing dishes) and 2. Air conditioning. We found one apartment that we really like and if everything works out we will be taking that one. So fingers crossed!!!

11 months and counting!!!!!

We are officially one month away from my little baby Bug's FIRST birthday!!! I have started to go into this panic mode where I am excited and sad at the same time. I am so excited for her birthday but it also means Bug will technically no longer be my "baby". Everyday Bug proves to me that she is becoming a big girl. About three days after she started crawling, Bug also started pulling herself up to standing. Now she is trying to cruise along the furniture. I am just not ready for my little baby to be walking. I still remember coming home from the hospital with her and now... Well, she's still little but those early days are long gone.
On another note, we have been breastfeeding for 11 months and Bug is still going strong!! I think that she may breastfeed longer than BooBoo who went for 14 months. Which would make me happy because I still love seeing that milk drunk look on her face =)
